You can use the shareware program Macette (version 3.0) available from Macette3 (partium.com) or macette3_zipfile (partium.com)

89204 2002-10-14 22:11:00 You can only open Mac disks on a PC with special software unlike Macs which will read PC disks.

You will probably need to get access to a Mac and save the CV to the hard disk.
Then insert an IBM formated disk and copy it to this disk.

This will allow you to open it on your PC
If the document was created on a recent version of Mac MS word you should be able to open it with word on your PC
If it was created with an older version of word or the Mac word processor you will need to open it on the Mac with the program it was created on and save it as RTF and copy this to the disk but there may be a problem retaing the format of the document when it is opened on the PC

When saving Mac documents you'll share with Windows-based PCs, follow these guidelines to ensure maximum compatibility:

1. On the File menu, click Save or Save As.
2. Make sure the Append file extension check box is selected. This will add a .doc extension to the document's name, so a Windows-based computer can recognize it.
3. If you use a floppy disk to share files, be sure to format the disk for use with a Windows-based computer.
4. Save your Mac document in the appropriate format for these situations:
* If the PC you're sharing files with is running Word 97 or later, just save it as a Microsoft Word document. No conversion is necessary as long as your Mac is running Word 98 or later. Make sure the Append file extension check box is selected.
* If the PC you're sharing files with is running a version of Word earlier than Word 97, save it in Rich Text Format (RTF).
* If the PC you're sharing files with is running a program other than Word, save it in Rich Text Format (RTF).
* Whenever you're in doubt about compatibility, save a Mac document in Rich Text Format (RTF).
