| 89030 | 2002-10-14 03:06:00 | I am looking at building a new computer and am wondering if a socket A Morning Star 6378 is a good value motherboard. It is about $140 and I have seen this motherboard in some cheap systems. | forrest44 (754) | ||

This cannot support any other Socket A Cpu such as the Athlon XP chips.. The AMD Duron range is limited in Speed (Approx 1.3 GHz) and features compaired to the newer CPU's. Is this what you want ??? For $50 more you can have an AMD XP chip.. Anyway Check out Price Spy (http://www.pricespy.co.nz/) to see what the general Price for the parts are, then either email them or phone to see if this is their lastest price. Thanks Jess |
