88985 2002-10-14 05:02:00 Format.com is the DOS EXE for formatting a Floppy or HDD... You use it when installing Win98 usually :P Chilling_Silence (9)
88986 2002-10-14 05:03:00 OK, system monitor tells me now that i have 64% free system resourses, 64% free user resourses, and 69% free GDI

What if anything does that actually mean?

88988 2002-10-14 05:08:00 The monitor I was thinking of has a "View" (?) option which let me set up a bar graph of memory in use, allocated, cache use etc. (It's probably the same thing as you found... just the default setup). I agree that percentages of "resource" use isn't helpful. Graham L (2)
88989 2002-10-14 05:14:00 system monitor, as opposed to resourse meter described before tells me in graph form "kernel percentage usage" 100%

i got it to log..
>Kernel: Processor Usage (%)

88991 2002-10-14 05:21:00 Well turn off the CPU monitor, and set the memory use as a graph (which sits in a window) ... Graham L (2)
88992 2002-10-14 05:30:00 >the memory

?? allocated memory
i currently am watching allocated and unused mem. there doesn't seem to be a simple "memory" option as such.
