89050 2002-10-14 03:12:00 I am using Windows 2000 and I want to know how to remove an application from the right side startup menu without have to uninstall the programme davemcvicar (2241)
89051 2002-10-14 03:21:00 It depends on what the program is....
You may be able to click Start
Programs
Startup
and if it's in there, then delete the shortcut
Otherwise, goto www.superrsoft.com and download Super Rabbit Magic Set. When you've downloaded and installed it, you can select the AutoRun feature. This lets you select ANYTHING that will be laoding on startup.
Give it a try

Cheers

89052 2002-10-14 06:55:00 If you are referring to the programs listed when you click on the Start button>Programs, they are all just shortcuts in that menu and can be deleted as you wish. Just right click on what you no longer require and choose delete or press the delete key. The program itself remains on your hard drive. Susan B (19)
