| 89454 | 2002-10-15 08:43:00 | Has anyone else had problems trying to give Symantec money? My Norton Anti-Virus 2002 refuses to connect to subscription server. So, I tried to do it via their website. Nope. Can't do that. You have to have a "state" even if you live in NZ. (Despite the form itself telling you you don't need to select a state outside USA/Canada, it won't let you continue without one.) My parents also are trying to give Symantec money and they don't want theirs either. The form keeps telling them that xxxxxx@xtra.co.nz is not a valid email address. It's an unbelievable way to do business. I've emailed Symantec, but I doubt I'll get a reply - based on past experience. Even if I do I'll probably get some dweeboid pointing me to their online help files that I've already tried. Anyone have any similar experiences? |
