| 89731 | 2002-10-16 02:21:00 | Whenever I run the CleanSweep portion of Norton utilities I am left with a residual few hundred KB of files that should be able to be freed on the non-removable drives Each time I press the "Clean Now" button, the same few hundred KB remain. When I press the "Settings" button I get a dialogue box that states that the files are in the "Internet History"category I am running Windows XP on a relatively new system. Does Norton System Works have a bug? or am I missing something. Any comments would be appreciated |

| 89733 | 2002-10-16 06:19:00 | Had the same problem. After about 9 Mths Norton's started leaving 600 odd Kb's. Use XP's own disc cleanup and it will get rid of those few KB's that Norton's leaves behind. I did this a month ago and haven't had any problem since. Tom |

| 89734 | 2002-10-17 02:02:00 | Hi Tom I have tried to remove the files using windows "internet options" with no effect. Is there some other way to erase the history using windows own utility? |
