| 89364 | 2002-10-16 00:21:00 | I've always had fun getting specs, BIOS updates.... for legacy gear. In the end I have resorted to googling with whatever part/model/spec numbers I can find on the equipment the answer is ~42~ |

| 89365 | 2002-10-16 02:33:00 | google will often find things (try using "site:edu" as an option ... students often make lists in their spare time ;-) and I have found things like that). Also, check the newsgroups (now archived on Google). I'ver found things there which a normal google (web) search does not find . Ther are a number of books around called things like "Upgrade your PC" which have tables of disk information. There are commercial CDs with collections of hardware information (which are attached to some of those books). |
