89326 2002-10-14 23:57:00 For Grisoft AV users,

There is a small patch available as a lot of clients had problems

with corrupted files in last update.(It didn't seem to be as much of a problem in the Pacific as it was in the US)

It was so small I didn't even have time to see how big it was?

PS; To R.M.,this may fix your probs??

Cheers,Kiwitas,;-)

How do I know if I need to install it?
Baldy (26)
89328 2002-10-15 04:50:00 Thanks for that Kiwitas - but no it doesn't really. So I am stuck with a fairly slow boot up until the big son gets back from the UK. He starts on his way tomorrow - hooray! But not back home until Xmas. R.M. (561)
89329 2002-10-15 05:43:00 If you're talking about Update version 399, it has been discarded by GriSoft because it was having troubles with some AVG users running WIndows XP.

They said they'll release a new update (Identical to 399 but hopefully without problems) soon.

89331 2002-10-15 20:03:00 Hello Kiwitas,

Thanks very much for confirming that AVG had a problem,
I had been trialing Kazaa before I updated AVG, and when all hell broke
loose, and I wasnt sure which one caused the problems.

I appreciate your update messages as well

cheers,
Bob
