89839 2002-10-16 08:56:00 i have had a look around and can't find any how to's on sharing the internet from windows XP to Linux RedHat 8 .
How easy is it, Linux as client .

The links say a lot about windows but not alot about linux.

89843 2002-10-17 03:23:00 It probably easier to set the Linux up as a client. The XP is the gateway, and you will want to set the ISP's DNS server addresses too. (possibly after any you might have set in a Linux type network). linuconf will lead you through it. Graham L (2)
