| 89798 | 2002-10-16 05:08:00 | It only happens occasionally, everything will be going well, then if you carry out two actions quickly (dont know what they are yet) thereafter, when you start to double click on a Icon shortcut, the first and subsequent click brings a Dropdown Box, with Open, Edit... on display. To get rid of this, I usually restart the PC, which fixes the problem. Im not sure Ive seen a tick box to de/select this option. Thanks.....John. |

| 89799 | 2002-10-16 07:23:00 | Hi John, that sounds like the context menu (when you right click on a file). perhaps your mouse click settings are too fast/slow. Open Control Panel - Mouse-Buttons tab and have a play with these speeds and see if they make a difference. It could even be a button sticking or perhaps the mouse drivers. Perhaps try another mouse if you have the same problems. |
