1318005 2012-12-13 07:01:00 Hi All.
Maryann is using W7 on a Toshiba laptop.
She wants to stop some progammes starting up on boot up.
How does she do this please? PJ

1318006 2012-12-13 07:06:00 Use CCleaner. Download it and install it from piriform.com then find startup in 1 of the tabs. Simple! Or something even simpler is Soluto but that is a bit buggy but when it works it is fantastic at catagorising and naming apps instead of their registery name. stratex5 (16685)
1318007 2012-12-13 07:22:00 Either as stratex5 said with ccleaner, (tools/ Startup) or click start, type in msconfig click it in the results, go to the startup tab, untick the programs you don't want to run on startup, reboot and they wont start. They will run when you double click on the program as normal. wainuitech (129)
