1293263 2012-08-06 08:03:00 Just got home this afternoon after a week back in Hawkes Bay District Hospital.

The new hip was coming along good but I had a couple of TIA's (transient ischemic attack) last Monday night which bowled me for a row of shite-cans. The second one was a real doozy and seems to have had a worse result than the one that was 6 hours earlier. I had started to recover from the first one but this one is taking a while to improve.

After 7 days, a $zillion dollars of blood tests, x-rays, ultra-sound tests and brain scans done They have let me come home,,,thank God. Pretty wobbly, made worse by now having 2 crook legs and a bung left arm. but feeling that each day from now must get better.

Been catching up on my emails but am pretty tired and this is taking an age to type.

Ah well, such is life....

wobbly Ken

1293264 2012-08-06 08:12:00 Gosh, that is a bit rough and would have been rather distressing. Take it easy and hopefully the rest of your recovery is uneventful. :) Jen (38)
1293265 2012-08-06 08:19:00 Geez Ken. That's tough news. Take it easy and I guess they have you on asprin to thin the blood. Try and get that left arm moving. Best wishes. Bryan (147)
