| 1292658 | 2012-08-04 00:14:00 | Ok, I'm asking this an behalf of a friend, which is why I'm not dredging up my buying a smartphone thread, thought it was time to let that one die. Anyway, my friend has a Huawei idoes u8150, as was looking to upgrade. He was looking at either a htc one s, a sony xperia p, or a galaxy nexus. Anyway, what he was wondering about was the screen quality and battery life. The nexus has a higher ppi, but is pentile. The one s has a lower ppi, but is not pentile. And, the xperia p has an extra white subpixel. So, what he was wondering, is, forgetting about the screen size, what screen will look the best. I told him probably the galaxy nexus, but he's read the one s is pretty good. And lastly, what have any users found the battery life on any of these to be, and which one of those would you recommend he gets? |

But, I was still told to ask  |

Galaxy Nexus is the No 1 choice hands down, hardware is good, price is good, support is amazing for custom ROM's and the stock ROM is awesome. Just updated my S2 to JB over ICS and it's amazing. Idk if it's my mind playing tricks, ICS was smooth (never any lag unless loading a big folder/list for the first time) but JB seams insanely fluid. I love it! My next phone will be from the nexus lineup. |
