2012-08-07 04:58:00 | My friend has now done some background work - don't know why he didn't do it before grrrr. Anyway, he's narrowed it down to three phones, and asked for some pros/cons to each one. I asked what he'd use it for, and he came up with Texting and Calling Internet Casual Gaming The three he wants a list of pros/cons for are Gnex Lumia 800 Xpeira P Cheers guys.

2012-08-07 06:20:00 | The lumia 800 won't be upgraded to wp8, but still an option if that doesn't bother him. But if he does want to go windows option have a look at the 710 instead, same hardware minus front camera. And the 800 has 16gb and 710 has 8 gb. | plod (107) | |

2012-08-07 06:56:00 | Can't be assed, too much hassle, read some reviews :p Lol :D I have, but a review is no replacement to asking someone who has actually had the phone. For instance, going by reviews, I'd say stuff the Gnex, and would be out buying a htc one s. However, I doubt the one s is actually better than the Gnex. Sense vs Pure? ;)

2012-08-07 07:26:00 | I've only owned one of them. Pure definitely. Couldn't stand SenseUI on the One X, so I went AOSP Jellybean.

2012-08-14 10:11:00 | Ok, I'm asking this an behalf of a friend, which is why I'm not dredging up my buying a smartphone thread, thought it was time to let that one die. Anyway, my friend has a Huawei idoes u8150, as was looking to upgrade. He was looking at either a htc one s, a sony xperia p, or a galaxy nexus. Anyway, what he was wondering about was the screen quality and battery life. The nexus has a higher ppi, but is pentile. The one s has a lower ppi, but is not pentile. And, the xperia p has an extra white subpixel. So, what he was wondering, is, forgetting about the screen size, what screen will look the best. I told him probably the galaxy nexus, but he's read the one s is pretty good. And lastly, what have any users found the battery life on any of these to be, and which one of those would you recommend he gets? Of course that Galaxy Nexus is the best choice :D. I absolutely love this phone, it is amazing!
