1293784 2012-08-10 04:07:00 I've certainly bought them from Mitre 10 Mega and Bunnings in the past, I would presume they still stock them, but perhaps not. inphinity (7274)

1293786 2012-08-10 04:43:00 If you're trying to buy them online I dunno, but Bunnings, Mitre 10, and Placemakers, all of which you mentioned, all sell them in store. They just aren't the kind of stores that do online supply.

No, I'm not buying on line. For 'man shed' stuff I like to to get touchy-feely. :D

Supercheap are the best option for me, they have a good range, prepackaged in the quantities I need, at a fair price, and just 5 minutes from my door.

Thanks to all though...

Cheers

1293790 2012-08-10 05:24:00 Bunnings and Mitre 10 normally sell things like that in little blister packs of 10 or 20. Not cheap on a per rivet basis though. phatman (1352)
1293791 2012-08-10 07:22:00 Good grief. Rivets are everywhere, they're just scarce online coz the margins on them are so darn low that it's not worth the bother to list them.

Just wander into pretty much any hardware store and you'll find all you want, and more besides.

The bigger ones like Bunnings even offer them in different colours, and also the 'blind' variety to be a tad more watertight.

1293792 2012-08-10 09:48:00 I use them a lot at work.
Just over the road from my work is J.A.RUSSELL.
They sell all sizes in small jars (plastic ones that is).

1293793 2012-08-11 02:40:00 I found a small engineering supply that sells all sizes in any quantity, at far better prices than Mega. Cicero (40)
