Yup, you said it. And I have to agree with you. When apple adopts something, it goes mainstream.

1292671 2012-08-04 13:35:00 I love my NFC. It's super when you have other friends with phones that also support it, and you can pickup NFC tags and program them for super cheap, like a dollar or two per-tag.

Google Wallet isn't available in NZ just yet but hopefully it's not too far off :)

1292672 2012-08-05 09:09:00 Ok, have talked to him. He's now thinking of the galaxy nexus or the lumia 800 . Dont know where that came from, but anyway.
He had just one last question about the HTC range. The sensation xe vs the one s. Which one is better?
Yes, he does like sense ui.

1292673 2012-08-05 09:33:00 I would still take the Gnex over Lumia 800. Lumia 800 won't be getting windows phone 8. But it really depends if you like windows phone or android. sahilcc7 (15483)

I know, doesn't make sense to me either. Chill firmly converted me to the Gnex camp. Still, I guess if my friend wants a windows device...who am I to stop him.

1292675 2012-08-05 11:02:00 If worried about battery consider upgrading to a higher capacity battery, not that expensive.

Galaxy Nexus is the No 1 choice hands down, hardware is good, price is good, support is amazing for custom ROM's and the stock ROM is awesome.

Just updated my S2 to JB over ICS and it's amazing. Idk if it's my mind playing tricks, ICS was smooth (never any lag unless loading a big folder/list for the first time) but JB seams insanely fluid. I love it! My next phone will be from the nexus lineup.
the reason that it is much more fluid is due to something called "Project Butter" :D

1292676 2012-08-06 03:35:00 Does the Galaxy Nexus operate on both of the Telecom XT UMTS frequencies? Is it a particular model number? johcar (6283)
1292677 2012-08-06 04:08:00 According to Wikipedia, it does (850MHz & 2100MHz). The list of variants can be found here (en.wikipedia.org). Erayd (23)
