| 1317194 | 2012-12-08 04:42:00 | Google.co.nz is my home page. I use to be able to limit searches to pages from NZ but now I can't. The options down the left hand side have "gone" and I can't find how to get them back. Any idears Team ? Phil. |

| 1317200 | 2012-12-10 05:39:00 | The site command (e.g. site:nz, site:.com, etc), a advanced Google Operator (www.googleguide.com) usually restricts searches to site's with your query (e.g. NZ) in the url/domain, and is reasonbly useful and a common simple operator. However there are also the little known Google advanced and more targeted url query string parameters, (www.blueglass.com) which Google themselves don't seem to mention/document much. This includes parameters for country codes (developers.google.com) (part of Google's Adwords API)- which forces Google to search/display for websites of the country's origin. Appending &cr=countryNZ at the end of your Google's search query URL will show sites originating from NZ. Also displays additional search links - including pages from NZ - in Chrome and Firefox. |
