| 1316979 | 2012-12-07 11:59:00 | Hi all I've just got a new windows 8 machine and I'm worried about the data usage. I've turned of most of the apps like the news and weather updates but when you look at the data usage it just seems to keep ticking along, even doing nothing the data used keeps going up.... Any idea's? Or is it just that Microsoft get a cut on every bit transfered????? You never know! Thanks Dave |

But things like weather apps and stuff use probably around 2mb a month, so essentially unless your browsing the web or playing games or whatnot then you will use very minuscule amounts of your data plan and this isn't increased by windows 8. | Slankydudl (16687) | ||
