| 90380 | 2002-10-18 06:38:00 | I will get a dvd decoder card on ebay for like ... $10US. the Cinemaster 3 "C" works in win2k and winxp. Or a Hollywood Plus card .... these are $250-350 at Ascent Wellington!! DVD ROM is also cheap too like $40US. I read w/ the most eff. cinmaster s/w decoder its not enof ... need a pent 1, 233 and a good video card. Cheers Rayonline |

| 90382 | 2002-10-18 23:53:00 | I've got a P133 with an Encore hardware decoder. It works surprisingly well for DVD. It's the decoder that does all the work as opposed to the cpu, so tthe cpu speed doesn't really matter a whole lot.
