| 90285 | 2002-10-17 21:05:00 | I was quite happily bouncing away with Mailwasher 1.33, but when I heard that v2 was out I went and downloaded and installed it. However I have not been able to bounce a single email with it - it just gives an error: Failed to bounce message "<subject>" from "<email address>" (bounce 4): failed to resolve remote MX servers: Socket Error # 10054. Connection reset by peer. Anyone come across this before? Or should I just go back to v1.33? Mike. |

Running Windows XP and have Nortons installed what about you it could have something to do with that. also take note of the message that is causing the problem. is it the same address each time. if it is then try setting up that one message to delete instead of bounce and see if the message still comes up :) |

(Yes and MW2 is still beta). I have (had) problems with MW2 under WinXP Pro and have been (are in) discussions with the development team. I'll try and keep you posted as to updates. Cheers, Babe. |

My concern which has been fixed in V2 is that I needed authentication to be able to handle both of my e-mail accounts for bouncing while logged in to just one. I can bounce IHUG and PARADISE while logged into PARADISE because IHUG allows verification on its SMTP server. |
