| 90153 | 2002-10-17 07:26:00 | Hi, My other computer has got a virus that McAfee has identified as Insane.dam. Anyone know anything about it? It has infected over 30 programs, do I have to do a complete re-install or just the affected programs (two files are in c:\windows\system)? Thanks Dave |

| 90154 | 2002-10-17 07:51:00 | Insane.Dam at McAfee.com (vil.mcafee.com) "AVERT has received reports of false "W32/Insane.dam" detections when using the 4229 DAT files and old, and unsupported, engine versions 4.0.70, and 4.1.40. Users who are seeing such a detection are urged to update their engine to the current version, 4.1.60, as soon as possible to correct this false detection." |
