90755 2002-10-19 05:43:00 Son sent me CD with lots of AVI and Mov files but when I try to access the CD it tells me not accessible. A friend can access them on his machine with Win 98se.
I have quicktime, and I am running Win 95- is my computer too old for this sort of thing?

90756 2002-10-19 05:48:00 what r u using quicktime with, use Windows Media Player with AVI files and Quicktime with MOV files, maybe also u might not have divx, if ur son had encoded the videos in divx, u will need the divx codec to play the file.

cheers,

90757 2002-10-19 05:50:00 or it could also be that the cd was written in a diff. file format than what is normally used as the default cd file format. vk_dre (195)
90758 2002-10-19 06:24:00 Might be the colour of the writable CD vs your CD-ROM drive. I have had problems with the pale blue ones on older drives. BIFF (1)
