90523 2002-10-18 19:52:00 Could someone tell me what program I could open a .eps file and a .gif file?

Thanks
Chooky (1401)
90524 2002-10-18 20:00:00 I have never heard of a .eps file but to open a .gif you can use Internet Explorer or else a image editing program like ACDsee, paint shop pro and there are lots of them out there and there are bound to be free ones as well.

90526 2002-10-18 21:23:00 Chooky,

.EPS files are Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) is a standard file format for importing and exporting PostScript files see EPS File Format (www.prepressure.com)

90528 2002-10-18 21:54:00 you can open .eps files in Publisher, or Adobe products e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator. (I also think some of the Macromedia and Corel products open them aswell)

90529 2002-10-18 21:55:00 An .EPS files is Encapsulated PostScript. You should be able to view it with IrfanView, a free graphics viewer available from here (http://www.irfanview.com/). Susan B (19)
90530 2002-10-18 22:00:00 Oh, does irfanview open them??? I was a paintshop pro user before I got a secondhand copy of photoshop, and paintshop pro wouldn't open them.

Good to know.
