Does anyone know whether computer parts are going to be any cheaper (CPU's and the like) in Australia as opposed to here give GST on both sides and the exchange rate. 91193	2002-10-21 00:40:00	There is a slight advantage, given their 10% GST and our 12.5%. Plus the larger population gives greater economies, but the margin is slim. By the time you factor in the difficulties with any warranty/support, its not really any advantage. I work quite a lot in Sydney, and have looked around at the prices. The availability is slightly better there, again due to the population.	godfather (25)
