| 91131 | 2002-10-20 07:14:00 | Thanks for the response to my queries re my Nortons problem. I did as suggested and went to "housecall", after a lot of trouble I managed to download the proggramme and did a scan. before it even started I got a message to say that I had JS_GIGGER.A virus. the scan went ahead ok and came back with a negative report (no viruses found). I then went to Nortons and did the same with the same result (no viruses found). Checked the list of viruses in the Norton report and both Gigger and the suspected Bugbear were were shown as included. Nortons is now working again so something must have been fixed down the line but I have no idea what, most frustrating. PP Printer problem still there tho! My personal IT man is coming up with my granddaughter at the weekend so hope he can find the solution. :o) |
