| 91080 | 2002-10-20 06:20:00 | The .mov files will probably be mpeg now? What software do you have, I think Wincoder will translate. Have just converted 3+ hours of old home movies (put on VHS professionally 12 years ago). I converted them to VCD format but I had choices. The 12 years is past the use-by for tape life, so thought I would make them permanent Wincoder is not free I gather, mine came with the video capture card. I tried using other software on a PIII 667 Mhz machine but not enough grunt. Using a 2 GHz P4 its not a problem. |
