| 91191 | 2002-10-20 09:40:00 | Hey, I'll be going to Melbourne later this year. Does anyone know whether computer parts are going to be any cheaper (CPU's and the like) in Australia as opposed to here give GST on both sides and the exchange rate. If so can anybody tell me any good computer shops in Melbourne - particularly those in the Central City? Thanks in advance, Ashley |

By the time you factor in the difficulties with any warranty/support, its not really any advantage. I work quite a lot in Sydney, and have looked around at the prices. The availability is slightly better there, again due to the population. |
