91597 2002-10-22 03:22:00 Is it possible to create a boot CD with multiple boot images, and a boot menu to select which boot image to use? :D

Say I have a boot disk for MSDOS, Win XP, and Linux - can I make a bootable CD and have those three as options to start as emulated boot disks, or something similar?

91598 2002-10-22 04:08:00 You might be able to do it with LILO . . . or one of the other boot managers . Whether there is such a thing as a partiton table is left as an exercise for the student .

That should keep you out of trouble for a day or two . :D

The way I'm going, it'll probably be several weeks :p But it presents an interesting project . Saves me from having to find my box of boot disks every time I want to boot to a specific OS .

91600 2002-10-22 17:38:00 Mike, it is possible, I have done one. If you go to http://www.nu2.nu/ you will find some excellent instructions on how to achieve this.
