| 91521 | 2002-10-22 02:00:00 | Hi F1 Has anyone found a way to disable the power key on keyboards so that it does not shut down the PC when accidentally pressed? |

| 91523 | 2002-10-22 02:05:00 | Does the keyboard come with Driver software and extra programs? You can sometimes do it in the software that comes with the keyboard! | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
| 91524 | 2002-10-22 02:09:00 | Windows 2000 or XP on a Compaq EVO PC and a compaq keyboard that has power and sleep keys near where the printkey key is. The key is somehow loaded as a part of the keyboard driver, so that pressing it turns off the PC I could find nothing in the BIOS |

| 91526 | 2002-10-22 06:23:00 | Hmm. If I remember rightly, you should be able to disable the compaq keyboard drivers and then let windows detect it as a standard keyboard. Mind, this will disable all multimedia / internet buttons (IMOHO are a pain in the butt anyway)... SiK |
