news (nntp)server your internet service provider has given you
what do'es this mean please ?:|

If you don't hang around newsgroups (does anybody anymore?) then you won't have to worry about setting up the nntp protocol.

did you click on a newsgroup link? If so this will take you to the newsgroups. You will need to enter your isp newsgroup settings in the wizard. It is usually

news.xtra.co.nz or something similar. and open a window that lets you browse newsgroups.

I used to, at the same time IRC was popular and web pages were all made in plain text with the odd link.
