| 91346 | 2002-10-21 06:57:00 | I have recently update to Windows XP and my pc has an internal modem for Internet use. The modem is a SiftK56 Data Fax modem. I have found that when I am on the internet that I get the hissing noise that normally goes with the log on to the net. Can anyone tell me how I can stop the modem hissing when connected to the net? | 91348 | 2002-10-21 06:59:00 | Find the maker of the modem (SoftK56 is a generic term) and see if you can download the XP drivers from their website. That will fix the problem. | godfather (25) | ||
