| 91905 | 2002-10-23 00:57:00 | Hi We’ve recently upgraded from Microsoft Works 4.5 to Works 2000 and have an issue with Works 2000 that we didn't have with Works 4.5. and would like to know if anyone else has experienced this and if they have, have they found a way round it? Our issue is that when you save a Works file to a particular folder it appears to ‘remember’ this so that even when you exit Works and open it up again when you go to save another file your at this 'remembered' file location rather than say to your ‘home’ folder or my documents! Grrr... With Works 4.5 / Properties / ‘start in’ option you could set where files were to be saved to eg A:\ or H:\ and I’ve tried this with Works 2000 and it ignores it completely. I would be very grateful for any suggestions that could help us solve this issue. Thanks Eileen |
