91886 2002-10-22 23:25:00 Thanks Kiwitas.

Funny thing my AVG says it's always up to date but when I go into Control Center it says yes it's the latest but it never is. Odd. Cheers anyway, nice service to provide. :D

91887 2002-10-22 23:53:00 Hi...

Thanks, just installed AVG (on most people's recommendation at F1), but when it asks for a update, a greyed out dial in dialog box pops up for my connection password. This means I cannot dial in direct, instead have to open up internet explorer...Is this the only way?

I notice also you cannot easily create and save customised folder (& sub folders) for scanning, like the more advanced free avast 32 free scanner...

Cheers...

91888 2002-10-23 00:19:00 There is, from memory, somewhere on the AVG control page a box that says "User confirms dial up connection" or something like that.

Check that box and it should work.

You have a brilliant AV system on your machine.......

Well you've gotta be connected to the net if that's where you get your update. I always do it from Opedra connected and works fine.
