| 92169 | 2002-10-24 03:40:00 | I either would consider slimline or tower cases of IBM Intellistation. To partner with Thinkpad. Nah.. little ones is not my taste. Thats means I can take ATX boards or maybe a diff one for the slimline. If i cannot - I will stick with tower Intellistation. Most things will be integrated anyway like, ethernet, modem, I/O and even sound. I *may* get a better sound card doh know. A SCSI 160 card, wireless LAN, AGP graphics is all I need. Rather get APG separate and scsi since can migrate to new mobo in future if i wish. So 2 PCI, 1AGP certainly fit into slimline. wireless lan can be usb. Just a question if can get hold of a new mobo for slimline. if cant will gethe ibm tower. well now... maybe tower since need 64bit pci for scsi 160. thanks for the help will just check the slimline layout b4 i purchase and see the avail mobos if not wil do ibm tower. |
