| 92124 | 2002-10-23 07:32:00 | I am running Win 98SE and office 2000 upgrade. From the start menu I can usually access the shortcut, New Office Document, which is a list of all the office templates. I now get a message; Windows Installer, Preparing to install. AND, C:\WINDOWS\Start menu\newofficedocument.ink The windows installer has failed to install the program associated with this file. Please contact your system administrator. I have reinstalled Windows, but cannot reload Office 2000 at all. Any ideas? |

| 92125 | 2002-10-23 08:59:00 | It probably wasn't a problem with Windows and a problem with Office 2000. Office 2000 uses Windows Installer to install it's components, uninstall and reinstall office, if the window comes up again pop the Office CD into the computer. | Chao is back (634) | ||
