| 92750 | 2002-10-24 23:47:00 | ok neat. i have stored the music in the media player and will play well from the harddrive. when i try to burn a disc it closes half way through the burning process. i have tried different software programs to copy the music and the same problem happens. when i try and play a music cd from the music shop it will only play around half the cd and will only let me save around half the cd to the hard drive. everything was working fine a few months ago? | myles (2322) | ||

| 92752 | 2002-10-25 00:10:00 | oh good spell huh. another thing, my msn media play goes online and auto updates my media information. i cant stop it from doing this and i get the feeling microsoft collects song lists........... it goes off and finds song names and cd cover art work etc. has/can this put a block in my pc with copyrighted music? xp driving me nuts. 98 was so stress-free | myles (2322) | ||
| 92753 | 2002-10-25 01:17:00 | Isn't the latest media player from MS supposed to be able to prevent copying of (c) music or allows you to copy but won't play on a different computer or something, something to do with there new music format wma. If XP is driving you nutty maybe you could look at the hassle of reformatting and going back to 98 assuming your problems have started only with XP. |
