92711 2002-10-26 04:21:00 Johnboy,

Now is that the exact location that where you put the directory/file that you moved that has the picture you want to delete.

if not I need to know the exact location you put tha file.

Babe. { Sorry to be such a pedantic pain... :-) }

92712 2002-10-26 04:32:00 Hi johnboy I'm not too sure if you still need to know this as I didn't have enough time to read through the entire post but here we go.

Open up command prompt under start, programs, accessories. Then it should already be under C:\documents and settings\user (thats where it seems to start on my pc)

To get to your shared folder do the following.. type cd then the path to the folder, On my pc it would look like this

cd C:\Program Files\Kazaa\My Shared Folder

alternatively you can go

cd C:\

then

cd program files

then

cd kazaa

then

cd my shared folder

Once you have navigated to your shared folder and then type the following

del pokemon.bmp

replacing "pokemon.bmp" with what the picture is called on your pc.

Hope this helps

You need to scroll to the end of that last location line you posted you're only seeing part of it. Put the mouse (click it) in that location line and press the END key on the keyboard to see the rest of the directory location. Now write the whole lot down and post in this thread.

We'll just ignore Sam H's comment just for the time being (no offence Sam) as your file is not in that directory.

Post Back (p.s. I'm only here for the next 15 minutes)

Cheers, Babe.

92716 2002-10-26 05:46:00 Johnboy,

Click START | RUN and in the RUN box windows type CMD and click OK

In the 'DOS'-like (black with white writing) window Type CD /D %ALLUSERSPROFILE% and press the ENTER key
In the 'DOS'-like (black with white writing) window Type CD documents and press the ENTER key
In the 'DOS'-like (black with white writing) window Type RD /S /Q "shared folder 1" and press the ENTER key (the quotes are required)

See how you get on with that.

(One step at a time ...)
