92809 2002-10-25 03:23:00 It's a dead easy way of sharing photos and news with the family - give it a go crozier (2004)
92810 2002-10-26 07:12:00 I see you can have 30MB of photos....... approx how many photos would that be? Baldy (26)
92811 2002-10-26 07:38:00 Hi Baldy,

Don't know how many photos that would be, but have started putting a few on.
Yes it is easy to do, but I have to use IE to use it.
Won't let me use opera just keeps locking up or not letting me in at all.
Have used F12 to identify as MSIE 5.0 but still no go.

cheers merlin-nz ;-)

92812 2002-10-26 07:57:00 Hi Merlin

I am working towards doing a simple web site ( on somewhere like Orcon ) but will use MSN in the meantime - to display my collection of weird and bizarre photos LOL.

MSN is a breeze to use. Good luck with your page Merlin

92813 2002-10-26 18:43:00 30 Mb - HEAPS of photos! Web photos are usually around 30 - 100 Kb each, so do the maths - it is lots. Newbies to digital photography often do not re-size their photos and keep them way too big, like 200 - 500 Kb which takes up too much room and causes slow downloading.

Anyhow, check this free photo web hosting site:
www.webshots.com

I use this for 3 web sites. It is easy to use.

Cheers, Steve
