93232 2002-10-26 08:33:00 For absolutly ne reason that i can see my alert of incoming mail has changed from the default "bing bong" to a simple "bing" as used by 'doze for just about every other alert....

where might i change this back?

I want my "BING BONG" back!!!!!

93236 2002-10-26 09:46:00 We use WinME but it should be about the same process.

Get into your control panel > Sounds and Multimedia > Sounds > scroll down to New Mail Notification > click and then select the sound you would like to change it to > Apply > Ok > send a message to yourself to test.

I recall that you could download mail sounds off the net but I don't recall where. Maybe a search on google will cough up something.

That has to beat "bing" " bing bong" and "ta da" hands down!!!!
