93042 2002-10-25 20:44:00 Press F8 as your PC boots, select safe mode.
Try it from there, then reboot.

93046 2002-10-25 22:17:00 Internet Explorer needs these two files replaced which reside in windows system. They are shdocvw.dll (Version 60.2800.1100 ) and urlmon.dll (version 60.2800.1100 ). I had the updated versions emailed to me, because for some reason these files did not get updated when I installed the new version of IE sp1. Apparently they are needed and this appears to be slowing the system down dramatically. Nelson (1675)
93047 2002-10-25 22:21:00 I still get the message access denied file in use by windows Nelson (1675)

93049 2002-10-25 22:40:00 I would suggest booting from a EBD and doing it from good old DOS. SoniKalien (792)
93050 2002-10-25 22:45:00 Im trying to repair IE 6 SP1 from the add remove programs but it wont repair as i dont have the latest files that are required . I have these later versions of the files required but it wont let me replace them as i get the message access denied files in use by windows.Im trying to copy and paste these files from my hard drive to windows systems.
orriginally i got the updated version off the net from microsoft but it was slow ie five mins for a page to load. i found after a bit of investigation that these two files were the culprits
