The IE version is: <bgsound src="cowboys.mid"> Can't remember the Netscape code but I believe if you want it to be compatible with both browsers it pays to put a bit of javascript (the one that says "If the browser is Netscape then.... else Browser = IE then... (not sure of the exact syntax) |

| 93010 | 2002-10-25 19:53:00 | Anything I think. Just keep the file size down. If you have a 1Mg track then visitors will be gone before it's finished loading and never hear it. Something small and catchy played in a loop often works best. Try linking a file on your hard drive and see how it works. Once you've had a play and know the code works move the file you want to your website folder and link that. Test it by uploading to the server and note the time taken to play. Then come back and edit it to a smaller size. |
