Sorry, but disk activity cannot take place without using processor resources; after all it is the processor that does the work; running the program that is searching the disk. Vince

93278 2002-10-29 20:43:00 while i havn't mesasure what resourses it uses, goback will slow the pc down a bit after install. leave the pc alone for a few hours to let goback do its thing, after that its barely noticeable. note- if you have mulitable drives/partitions put goback on the fastest one. tweak'e (174)
