| 93584 | 2002-10-27 21:25:00 | Hi I have been trying to install this on my PC from Win 98 . It goes through all the installation screens fine (no error messages) . However, when it does the final reboot to finish off, the Win 2000 splash screen shows, the small progress bar fills about half way and then the whole thing just freezes . I can only ever start in Safe Mode . I have tried clean reinstalling, the repair option but no luck . I also had the same problem with Windows 2000 advanced server . Have searched MS knowledge base, am at my wits end here! Has anyone else had a similar problem and solved it? Any help/suggestions appreciated Thanks |

Otherwise, supposedly a DOS install makes it cleaner, try booting off of the CD-ROM (Bios tweak may be required). Otherwise, no comments just yet, I've heard of stuff like that lots, so I'll see.
