| 93481 | 2002-10-27 08:27:00 | You have one in XP and one in PC-Cillin (2002 version anyway). I presume the reason for the questin is that PCC is asking you. To find out about the xp one, click start, connect to and right click on your internet connection. Click the advanced tab to see whether the firewall is turned on. I personally have both xp and pcc firewalls disabled and use zone alarm. |

Leak Test tests your systems ability to check and block unauthorised programs ie NASTIES "phoning home" while you are online. A decent firewall, set up properly, will only allow those programs that you have granted permission, to access the net , all others are blocked. |
