| 93989 | 2002-10-29 01:28:00 | I get this error regulary when I go to shut down . 0028:00000009 in VxD 0028:C00301F9 in VxD NTKERN01 + 0000E5FD. I use another key as advised but leads to a frozen screen at shut down . Have to turn the power off at the computer which is not recommended. | eddie parker (2375) | ||

| 93991 | 2002-10-29 01:47:00 | Eddie, First have you installed the Windows98SE shutdown patch? see here Win98SE_Shutdown (www.microsoft.com) Secondly AFTER updating with the patch AND IF the problem does not go away then see Windows Shutdown & Restart Center (www.aumha.org) and read and perhaps try some of their suggestions.
