93888 2002-10-28 21:42:00 I wanted to try out Dreamweaver & Flash so a friend told me to get an evaluation of them, so I downloaded "Studio MX TRIAL" which includes the 2 from kazaa last night and this morning I installed it and low and behold it is the FULL VERSION including Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, ColdFusion, Director MX and a few other things. I have tried eac happlication, all of them seemingly full version (no "ENTER SERIAL # or 30 DAYS LEFT)

Has macromedia gone free?

NO! Most software you download off Kazaa will be full-version software, and for you to download and install it is piracy, and it is illegal. When you download off Kazaa and other P2P networks you are just downloading software from other people, not from the software publishers, and if you download full version software (like in this case) that isn't freeware or shareware, then it's considered piracy and is illegal.

To download an official trial version, go to Macromedia.

How do I completely get out of the "illegalness", is uninstalling it enough?

Yeah, I think uninstalling is enough :)

93893 2002-10-29 00:29:00 I would urgently scan your PC for viruses as well, if you have downloaded software from Kazaa. Baldy (26)
93894 2002-10-29 01:44:00 And then say a few Hail Marys, and do 50 hours of community service. But you'll still need to be looking over your back, ... forever. Biggles (121)
93895 2002-10-29 01:53:00 I would just go on using it Ben...... Baldy (26)
93896 2002-10-29 02:25:00 Now now Baldy, we do not condone nor encourage software piracy. Biggles (121)
