It takes a lot to make a meal though.
We had possums living on the property until a couple of years ago, when one went through a hay bailing machine...alive....owww....dead.

Should have been here JM, not crumbed I am sorry, but "with salad"...

94077 2002-10-30 11:20:00 My old man poisons possums for a living, and I heard the other day it costs the government around $36 to kill a possum using 1080.

Don't believe everything you hear about Possums and Deer they are not as bad as DOC say they are, and they are not riddled with TB either, thats just propaganda.

DOC does more damage than possums do, dumping all that 1080 in the hills and getting into our water supply's

NZ uses 90% of the worlds 1080 how bad is that. :-(

roast sparrows, I wouldn't mind trying them at some stage. But Deep Fried Cicadas is where it's at ;) :D
