| 94145 | 2002-10-29 06:25:00 | Anyone got a simple fix for this? PC boots up ok but sometimes the task bar is inert, and won't respond to mouse clicks. Desktop programs do open but not much else. Windows key always works and I am able to tab to close down ok, but sometimes it takes 2-3 cold boots to come right. System is a usually rock solid Win 98 SE, on an Ultra Prima 400C 256M 15Gb. Start up programs are minimal but include Zone Alarm, Daimond Monster 3D, true vector etc. No elaborate desktop themes or setup to get in the road. Thanks |
