93832 2002-10-28 08:15:00 A curly 'History' question...

It is reasonably easy to delete all MS Explorer History files by going into the Options section. Also, it is easy to manually delete single files by opening the History column whilst Explorer is open, right clicking on the entry and deleting it.

BUT, how do you delete several selected files (at once) from the history list? Under Windows 2000 you could do this by going into the C drive, find Temp files and select all the files to delete, then delete them at once. With XP this appears not possible... anyone know the answer?
Tony.

93833 2002-10-28 08:40:00 WinXP has hidden the folder that stores the History and Temp Internet. The folder is called Local Settings and is found under your username in Document and Settings.

Change your folder options to show hidden folders and you should be able to locate this folder.
