1294219 2012-08-12 08:10:00 I don't have a preference but wife wants a phone line again so been checking out the deals

Currently on Xnet fusion but prices are too high so looking at changing.

Looked at Telstra clear don't think its enough. We want 40Gb data + phone line

Have looked at Orcon genius would do at a push but the plan is 30Gb or 60Gb would have accepted the no phone line if the BB cap was a bit higher

So looking at the new 40Gb vodafone plan as that comes with phone line and 5 best mates so that we can ring back to friends in Nelson (important for my sanity) for $85 a month .

Unless anyone knows of a better deal

1294220 2012-08-12 08:12:00 Gary, I am with Vodafone and have that deal....irrespective of the negative comments here in respect to Vodafone, I have been very happy with their service. smurf (6545)
1294221 2012-08-12 08:14:00 We were on vodafone a couple of years ago before step son won us 2 years free fusion on Xnet which has just run out and with the change of city I'm looking for a better deal.

We were happy with vodafone before too

1294222 2012-08-12 08:35:00 I have been happy with Telstra's 40gb + phone. If the deal is still running it is $75 a month. I gather their help line is crap but I have never needed it. mikebartnz (21)
1294223 2012-08-12 08:40:00 It is still running just didn't think it was as good as what the Vodafone deal is for our needs gary67 (56)
1294224 2012-08-12 22:24:00 Orcon includes a phone line if you go with regular broadband, or if you go with their naked broadband it includes a VoIP line. Their router is all setup and ready to do everything for you so you don't have to worry about setup or whatever either :)

Vodafone are cheaper though if you have OnAccount mobiles with Vodafone...

1294225 2012-08-12 22:30:00 which I do and Orcon only offer 30Gb which would be a tad marginal on that plan gary67 (56)
1294226 2012-08-13 00:35:00 Naked DSL is 200GB for $99 or 60GB for $89... Chilling_Silence (9)

Hmm yes that's only if you sign an 18 month contract I think just been looking again, its really the best mates that swing it for us and if wanting to switch to the 12 month contract it goes up to $99 for 60GB
